Surrounded by Burma, Bangladesh and
Tripura, Mizoram is an amalgam of
former North and South Lushai hill
districts. It is a land of great natural
beauty with an endless variety of
flora and fauna.
Aizawl, located at nearly 4,000 feet
above sea -level, is a religious and
cultural center of the Mizos.Champai,
Tamdil, Vantawng fall and Thenzawl
are some of the other important tourist
centers in this state. Tamdil's fame
rests on its natural lake; Vantawang
has the highest waterfall in Mizoram
and Champai offers a view of the Myanmar
hills. Mizoram has a pleasant weather
throughout the year. The entire area
is under the direct influence of the
monsoon with heavy rains from May
to September. Annual rainfall: 250
cm. 11-21 degrees Celsius in summer;
20-29 degrees Celsius in winter.

Full day in Vantawng visiting Thenzawl
Water Falls and Tribal Villages.Overnight
Thenzawl.
Day 05 :
Vantawng - Aizawl
Drive back to Aizawl. Post lunch visit
the local Bazar. Overnight Hotel,
Aizawl.
Day 06 : Aizawl - Kolkata
Morning transfer to Airport for flight
to Kolkata.
